I decided to try out Ethel Cain's 'Preacher's Daughter' after hearing positive things about it from a friend. Laufey's 'A Matter of Time' was an album I anticipated since I heard her second and third singles 'Tough Luck' and 'Lover Girl.' 'The New Abnormal' is The Stroke's 6th album, and one of their more popular ones to date. While I haven't had *direct* experience with the group, I did get to know what some members were capable of with side projects CRX and Machinegum. After listening to 'The New Abnormal' I can definitely say that there are big differences between projects- which is expected but was still nice to see how different they can be.
