One of the best contemporary jazz records I've heard, a persona favorite.
A personal favorite. I'm down to put this on at any time. So chill, but it isn't even something you have to be in the mood for. An all around great time.

Oh man, what a fun album. It takes something fresh to make such a solid pop album, and Carly Rae pulls it off spectacularly. Every song is just so charming. Back in 2012, I never would have thought I'd love Carly Rae Jepsen this much, but Emotion is a new favorite for sure.
Such a weird case of an album. The first couple singles were so intoxicating and addictive, with Youth unquestionably being one of the best Indie Pop singles out this year. The third and final single, while interesting, was considerably weaker in just about every aspect, and I think that paints an accurate picture for the rest of the album.
