Can’t believe we got a 100 minute long album literally called the fall off and this is still the biggest fall off this year.
In all seriousness though, there’s still a few bangers here but they’re way too few and far between to really elevate this album past mediocrity. Peggy, you better tighten shit up next time around

The whole iceman cycle inspired me to go back to this and in doing so I realized I never really said my piece.
Unfortunately my piece isn’t exactly anything all that original or interesting. It’s a great album. Not on the level of his masterpieces but it definitely stands well alongside the damns and section 80s of the Kendrick world.

You know Drake, I’ll give it to you. This isn’t the absolute worst thing in the world. For the most part it’s just really generic and/or sleepy, but oftentimes at least aesthetically easy on the ears.
That being said Jesus is a ton of the writing god awful. It actually boggles the mind that this guy sat down and wrote some of these similes with a straight face.

Vibes are still immaculate. Hard to believe this thing is 7 years old already. It may feel a little less groundbreaking and paralyzingly off kilter now than it did then, but that’s just cause we’re used to it now. And sure, Tyler’s singing is still technically not great but aesthetically it’s damn near perfect. The cascades of lo-fi production are just as ear-pleasing as ever. Fantastic work
