With the recent release of the Dolby Atmos versions, I just wanted to put this out there as a courtesy to check out that version of this record on Apple Music to get the full experience of what it’s is trying to do.
When I first listened to this record for the first time, it did not feel right. Every time I’ve sat down and given this the time it deserves, it hits just right. One of the best albums in the Beatles discog.
Very enjoyable listening to one of my favorite albums from last year again with the added tracks. New favorite is probably Coma.
Help me, I’m trapped in the Tortured Listeners Department
Just found out there’s a 2nd album and I’m just done lmao. Taylor is getting to Drake levels of mediocrity. I’ll give this a listen someday, but I need a break from Taylor Swift being shoved down my throat 24/7
Just got done listening and couldn’t tell you what I just listened to.
So I had been using Spotify for a few years and recently switched to Apple Music. There is a noticeable difference between this and the original if you listen to both. While I don’t think it makes the album any better or worse, I think it’s worth going out of your way to listen to if you are willing to.
The things about The Wall that makes it not a 100 to me gets fixed with this live album. Songs like Is There Anybody Out There, Vera, and the finale Outside the Wall are amazing upgrades, and the added pieces adds to this album. I’d recommend this version for a first time listener to get a better experience of what they were trying to accomplish with the original album.
