The album doesn't have any crazy, complex lyrics, but some of the tracks do feature some interesting lyrics that look at Don Toliver's relationship with women, drugs, and sin. Despite not going very far with that theme, the lyrics are still good, especially when considering the style and focus of the album clearly being moreso on the melodic aspect.

In what might be the most exciting time in Hip Hop since forever, I decided to review the hip hop recommendation I received. I knew very little of Hopsin before this listen, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I will say though, the album cover wasn’t exactly setting my expectation high.

The lyrics are melancholic and moody, and are designed to sound like they are coming from someone in space, arriving back on Earth. They cover the themes of loneliness, drugs, and wanting to be loved. These are your standard sadness and gloomy music lyrics, yet this album puts itself above ... read more
