Dude 😧
My initial reaction to this was extremely hyped, very aggressive head nodding which came to a stop the moment I started to hear and process what okgutta was saying. In mere seconds, a mind-blowing sonic experience turned into one my most depressing listens yet.
This album has GOT to be cursed or something, I don't think I've ever heard a musical project so viscerally disturbing. Albums like Atrocity Exhibition, The Ghost-Pop Tape, Watch My Back, etc. don't have shit ... read more
Just listened to a Hi-C album so I figured I might as well stay on that trajectory
And compared to everything else I've heard related to him, I LOVED this. Anyone who doesn't like the mixing SUCKS. Shit is weird and energetic and silly and ethereal and I can't get enough of it. LITERALLY the coolest thing ever.

Is this somehow their weirdest album? 😭 To be so used to this guy's music and still be asking "what the hell is going on" every track when faced with this album MUST mean so. The ideas of his later self are already mostly formed here, but nearly every single track here comes off as some sort of incoherent nonsense in one way or another. And it's super 50/50. You get tracks like Fog, ... read more
