No idea who they were before this, but that seems to be the common consensus. Blah blah industry plant whatever, the album is really good! It takes all the things that indie pop and rock bands write about terribly and actually does it well. The lyrical choices are satisfying and dramatic without being obnoxious. In no way is this album... bad per se, it's just kinda underwhelming. I think, throughout, the vocal performances and choices are very good, most of my issues are with the instrumental choices. Specifically, I think if "So let's go see the stars" leaned past basic synthpop into an actual stereotypical 80s sound it might've been more effective. Best Paramore album musically, thematically, and generally. I don't think I've ever listened to one album more times in a row than this one.

-1 point for 'Thick Skull' making me sad(der than the rest).

This album is very creative and feels a lot freer than previous iDKHOW releases. It feels like it is exactly what Dallon wanted to release and I think I agree with his ideas in music, themes, and inspiration throughout this album. Most of the songs are very catchy, have wonderfully written lyrics, and have amazing "musical moments" through changes in tempo, instrumentals, or melody.
