Where do I even begin for possibly the most iconic gateway album to metal of all time. Everything Goes Numb is a hyper energetic ska record that shines in a genre I never truly gave a chance. The lyrics are incredible, it's super catchy, and its one of the most unique pockets of music I've stumbled across. Toh Kay is both a blessing and a curse with a different, high paced and energetic voice that shines through the whole set but also lacks diversity or range which holds back some tracks on the record. Northlane's Alien is truly like nothing else. The production and stylistic choices blew me away from the very first time I listened to this album, and the overall thematic elements tell a painful and captivating story of lead singer Marcus Bridge's upbringing that strike deep. The shining point of this near masterpiece is the amazing narrative set by the lyrical content.

Rise Against's The Black Market sparks a love hate relationship with me.
