It just keeps getting worse and worse and more disappointing with each drop
Somehow got more boring than gemini, beats got more sterile aswell as the sample work, and the tracklist is so bloated he might be paying homage to his belly
Love lucki but this sucks to see, and Im not very optimistic for a bounce back from this either, considering this isnt the worst if anything im expecting a bigger decline.
Somehow a refreshing sound, not too much promise in it's further development though imo
Solid vibe but the choruses really drag the "vibey" songs to oblivion and make it pretty boring and stale, some promise in the rap-intensive tracks
Full of a lot of kathartic sonic explosions and overall a very cohesive listen
A little boring and dumbed-down compared to the previous album, still some standouts and really really impressive production
I'm going to be honest I've got no clue where we're going with this now, pretty disappointed.
Not that big of a deal considering he likes to drop complete nothingburgers from time to time (potentially always depending on who you ask) this just brings the future into questioning, where from here? I'm still expecting something huge from Elmo
Title's very on point though ill give him that
I didn't expect to be equally impressed by every track throughout this whole project but it happened. Very cool post-hardcore listen which for me shines in its consistency and equal distribution of emotional impact on every song which made it feel very smooth and overall "symmetrical".
I can't pinpoint a singular point in this project personally that outshines the others, which I adore about this album in it's complete listening experience. Everything is equally solid.
I might just be influenced by nostalgia but this was a very positive and relieving listen, although i think we won't be able to expect anything from him anymore this was something relatively positive to experience considering his recent climate.
Another personal issue i have with this one is sample work, i expected better even at his big ol' age. All in all a comeback if we're looking back at the whole vultures fiasco but still a long way to go
Painfully obvious influences that sometimes feel like homages to certain bands, but overall a solid listening experience.
Also have issues considering the album length, I feel like a lot of unnecessary songs plague the track list that add nothing to the project whatsoever.
The second half of the album in general drifts off into something more melodic and laid back, respectable attempt but doesn't do as much for me as the first part does with its heaviness.
I don't know, 4 songs is kind of underwhelming. Although they do fit in nicely and are honestly up there as the better tracks on the project they still don't do that much for me. Might just not be my cup of tea, overall not a terrible project
My first Mitski album!
This left a very positive impression on me and definitely interested me to delve deeper into her discography.
Evokes plenty of emotion and has a very wide palette of sounds with a very strong and cathartic finish. Beautiful stuff and probably the best thing i heard this year so far.
Excited to hear the rest of the discography
Pretty underwhelming experience considering its Keem, he could've absolutely done better than this and after a decently long time waiting I can't say I wasn't disappointed, still a pretty decent listen with some nice moments, also plenty moments where you can tell Kendrick's brushing off on him a bit too much.
This not no rage this mildly upsetting
21 nettspend songs is a little too much, got pretty bored
Good deluxe, continuing to develop in a similar style with a worse approach to the transitions in my opinion
EDIT: 73 → 90
I don't know what the fuck i was on giving this a 73 but a couple listens later this entirely clicked, bomb fucking album and doesn't AT ALL have a worse approach to the transitions. The development is very obvious and I have no clue how I was that oblivious the first time around
She's finding herself and developing her sound insanely well, it's taking a sharper turn and it's becoming more and more defined as time goes on, I'm all here for it. Amazing to be witnessing her growth it's fucking awesome. SHE CAN'T MISS!!!
At the very least this 1 wasn't boring and he also has some bops on here suprisingly, amazing listen by nine vicious standards 4 me
