oh B1A4 you were SO missed!!!!

somehow simultaneously masterfully produced and incredibly frustrating. There are these moments that break through and leave you anticipating more only for them to somewhat fizzle out, though I found myself really loving the distinct bursts of industrial sounds expected from Reznor when they did happen. The intent is at times clear, at times hazy - but maybe that's the point.

I've been fiercely loyal to 2004-2006 era McFly for the longest time sheerly because of how much I love the kind of surf rock sound they were focusing on during those years, but it's meant that I've never really checked out above the noise beyond the lead single 'shine a light'. I'll write a full review when I've had more time to really take the album in, but I'm completely blown away by all of this. we are so back gorillaz nation!!!!
