The cross-over nobody knew they needed, Carlos Santana arguably a top 10 guitarist and certainly one of the most influential in this era and genre, And you get Hendrix’s Band of Gypsy's drummer Buddy Miles who adds a powerful funk vocal and percussion style top an already impressive Santana percussion ensemble. Beautiful and The Patriot’s Dream are absolutely heartbreaking, and for lack of a better word, beautiful. Other standouts being the title track and Ode to Big Blue.
