I kind of hate that this is getting assigned the "country" label just because there are some twangy motifs. It really explores other American musical roots and integrates them all so well. Listened to it when I was absolutely zooted on Flonase and BODYGUARD itched my brain just right.

Life changing. This has been on heavy rotation for me since November and it still feels so fresh. She deserves all the post-Coachella hype and I can't wait to see what this young lady is going to do next.

It's nice to hear Kacey having her Nick Drake moment. I like it, but mostly just makes me want to listen to Golden Hour.

No skips. Just had the pleasure of hearing her play the whole album at Salt Shed in Chicago and all translate nicely to the live environment.
