despite being in the industry for over 30 years now, black thought and danger mouse are both incredibly consistent and putting great music out, and possibly both of thems best work to date. every single feature did their thing aswell. especially a$ap rocky and mf doom. the production was absolutely incredible, being rusty and grimey yet very melodic, emotional, and somehow nostalgic? one of my favorite aspects of this album though, was black thoughts absolutely incredible flow and lyricism. i dont think i could write a SINGLE bar on this whole album, and he just does it like its nothing. unfortunately the album did get ever so slightly worse towards the end of the album (still near perfect songs though) but aquamarine is like an 11/10 so it adds up to a 100/100. i could go on and on about what i love about this lp, but i like to keep my reviews shorter, sooo
