One of those albums that are just so consistent that there's not really a standout song. Wish they had made more stuff after this (No there is no steely dan album post Gaucho).
Compared to their debut, Super Flight is certainly a less bombastic and virtuosic record. But in the case of Casiopea, that simply means all the songs are merely 9s instead of 10s. The less complex song structures don't really hinder my enjoyment of this record at all, because the compositions are already rock solid. Despite its short runtime a lot of the riffs and motifs have already gotten stuck in my head. I like the motif of switching between these heavy and acoustic songs.
