For a debut Jay-z raps like a seasoned vet. his wit, and charm is on 10 throughout this whole album. The first half of this album I love, the latter half not so much. a lot of the beats sound dated, and feel like they're missing something, not to mention Hov gets a little homophobic on this album.
yea i think this soundtrack does a really great job it takes the best artibutes about this show and translates that into music.
yea Museum Music is fire. The production is as unique as is it gets. The inflections and cadences that he finds on this album are crazy he sounds like a mix of Ol' Dirty Bastard, Carti, and Ecco2k
i know the score is insane but as a album Chromakopia is all over the place, HOWEVER if i scored this song by song then this is Tyler's best music by far, It's his magnum opus imo.
I love this album. I love what it stands for, and I love Beavis and Butt-Head.
This is an okay album; it's fun, danceable, and different, but also very underwhelming.
Future and Metro need to be grounded for a week from the studio for this one. It would be longer, but the second disc is really good.
Mika's Laundry has some really amazing ideas, but it does end up falling a little flat for me. However, I do think that this is a great starting point for Matt's solo career. And I'm excited to see what's next.
How I describe this album is that you've come across this unfamiliar place, but instead of feeling uneasy, you feel comforted, like everything is going to be okay. This is a put your headphones on and look up at the sky and just observe type of album.
It's one of the coolest albums I've ever heard.
minimal dance-pop mixed with r&b Ariana was in her bag on this one
edit: too many moments on this album feel very lifeless and kinda boring
