With all of the other projects released this year, “eternal sunshine” might seem mild in comparison, but as a long time Ariana fan, this was what got me through this year. It’s my favorite release this year by far and possibly my favorite album of all time(?) I’m gonna tell the story of eternal sunshine track by track and just review everything and it’s gonna be a fun time!! I’m gonna separate the songs by chapters because I think it’s fun, but ... read more
Although 4 minutes, it feels very short. On a technical level; the mixing, vocal producing, production in general, this song is perfect. It just feels like the past 3 singles but less original. Diet Pepsi is very sexy and airy, Aquamarine is more tropical and she uses her voice more, and High Fashion has very different production and vocal production. An incredible victory lap for an extremely well-deserved grammy win from newly popular female rapper Doechii. Over the past couple of months, I've grown to really appreciate Doechii's debut mixtape "Alligator Bites Never Heal", as well as Doechii's performance skills and overall dedication to her craft. Sabrina's third studio album and the first out of her "Singular" project, "Singular Act I" is a pop/r&b fusion record that doesn't do a great job of showcasing Sabrina's talents and personality. On Sabrina's latest record "Short n' Sweet", many people praise her for her vocal range & ability and her playful yet vulgar wordplay. This really has none of that. It has some super catchy tracks, but only a couple that really stick out in ... read more
After 2 years and an additional 15-hour delay due to mixing issues, the deluxe edition of SZA’s spectacular sophomore record SOS is finally here! Titled LANA after the nickname developed from her first name SOLANA after an experience where she only had $40 to get a tattoo of her name, $10 a letter. LANA is a pretty worthy expansion of SOS, similar enough to SOS to feel like a deluxe edition but different enough to stand out amongst all SOS standard tracks. The production is much more ... read more
