I've never heard something produced like this before, its so unique. I think that definitely adds to this otherwordly vibe that she is creating and is also backed up by odd but captivating lyricism. The production and her vocals soar and really shine in this record.
I truly don't understand the hate this album gets. It has its corny lyricism and some low points for sure, but I think lots of the songs have genuine feeling and struggle driving them. I definitely feel like Katy tapped into something ahead of her time here and nobody has come back to forgive her for not giving her the credit she deserves.
