Re-listened to this album after years and it's not even that bad. Most of Drake's album might disappoint at first listen but then after a while they grow on you, this one is no exception. Definitely an evening / night time album and I appreciate the laid back more r&b tracks the most.

Jorge’s best album. The most complete and musically complex. Easier to listen and to like than all other projects within the genre, great entry to the world of Samba and Brazilian music. This album would be perfect as soundtrack for a Studio Ghibli movie “shot” in Brazil.
Trio Mocoto are hands down one of the best session musicians group ever.
Genre defining album. Culturally relevant album.
This project gets better the more you are into it listening to it, you might start listening this album in your room, or on the bus or wherever and by the end of it your next stop is Brazil. The same way a good book takes you and makes you immerge in its fantasy world, this album has the same effect but with music.
