Denzel Curry - BLACK FLAG FREESTYLE
90

Dope track from Denzel and a perfect feature to bring a lot of good vibes to this one. Can't wait for the album to drop

The Story So Far - I Want To Disappear
40

I really tried to enjoy this one and even gave a few songs some second listens but I just can't get myself to enjoy this sound anymore. I believe I have a major bias towards punk music being that the genre is something I grew up around and is something I have become a bit tired of over the years. I feel like I may not have been in the right mindset on my first listen and want to give it a more fair review at a later time, but as of right now this one is not doing anything for me and is ... read more

Joey Valence & Brae - NO HANDS
85

This is a great album with some genuinely fun tracks throughout. Especially love the 2nd track with Danny Brown PACKAPUNCH. There is nothing deep or inciteful here but I don't think that's the point at all. This feels like just a fun head bopper to jam out to and enjoy with a group of people or at a party. Don't take it too seriously and just vibe out. Overall had a great time listening and I think most people will too.

Mustard - Parking Lot
95

Mustard and Travis make a sick duo for this summer time banger. Can't wait to bump this in the car.

Joey Duran - Feet Always Cold
88

This one took quite a while to get through but it was certainly worth it. With all things considered I think this is a work of art. Joey should absolutely be working with other artists (if not already doing so) to produce even more high quality sounds such as these. I am very impressed by what has been created here given the limitations and age of the person working on this. I genuinely hope that Joey continues to create and would absolutely love to hear more in the future.

JPEGMAFIA - don't rely on other men

This one is crazy good, definitely one of the top singles this year so far.

The Smile - Wall of Eyes
80

Very surreal sound with this album. As a side project of one of the greatest bands of all time I think this is fantastic work and really enjoyed it.

Charles Lloyd - The Sky Will Still Be There Tomorrow
90

The Sky Will Still Be There Tomorrow has a beautiful and almost haunting sound to it. As I listen I feel like I get swept back in time to a late 19th century jazz club. The vibes with this album are some of the best I have felt this year and it has been a pleasure to listen to from front to back. This is what decades of musical genius and experience sounds like.

G-Eazy - Freak Show
20

The concept seemed pretty cool at first, but this album sadly hit its peak early on. The whole idea of a "Freak Show" feels like it was abandoned after the 3rd track which is disappointing. I had some hope that this would be a unique entry for G-Eazy but it immediately turned into a very generic hip-hop/pop that we've all heard before.. There is an audience for this type of music but I have gotten very bored of this type of work and it just does nothing for me at this point. ... read more

Kill Bill & Rav - KEEP THE CHANGE!
68

Overall I think this is a fun project, it starts off really strong with Tarmac and especially Clutch but as we move passed boom boom the tracks begin to feel a bit sluggish and fall off a bit for me. I still enjoyed the overall vibe but feel like this album doesn't have a very strong finish.

Pokelawls - Movie Music
70

I had a lot of fun listening to this one. I can tell poke has some real talent especially with his beat making ability. The music he makes is always a pleasure to listen to and especially fun to watch him put together on stream.

MISTA CRACK MAN - BIG BALLER PEE (BRAD TASTE IN MUSIC DISS TRACK)

mf bout to get his soul stolen 💀💀💀

System of a Down - Toxicity

Grew up listening to SOAD never understanding the meaning behind the lyrics but still enjoying the quality of the vocals and instrumentation. As I have gotten older I have learned the meaning behind a lot of these songs and it just makes them that much more impactful. There is no doubt in my mind that this is one of the greatest Metal albums of all time.

MAVI - drunk prayer
92

Fantastic track by MAVI. Emotional lyrics backed by an exceptionally produced beat, love this.

Vampire Weekend - Only God Was Above Us
96

My first experience with Vampire Weekend. I am impressed by what I am hearing and really do enjoy this album. From what I understand, this is some of their best work released. If their earlier work is even half as good as this, then I am going to have an amazing time going back.

시온 [Sion] - sociavoidance
91

Just discovering Sion with this EP. I wish I would have learned about this artist a lot sooner. Review scores for each song will be listed down below. From the start I was entranced by the singing on the song avoid! It was such a fun and interesting track to listen to and one that I will be coming back to over and over. Leading into the next track with a banger in expired! Oh boy this track hit hard, this is such a magical track to listen to and is one of my favorites on the EP. So much emotion ... read more

Acidgvrl - OMG HONEY IM COMBING !!

save the bees, they don't deserve this.

Jonah Zeidler - Just North of 83-42
86

This EP may not be for everyone but it is 100% in-line with the type of production and quality I look for. I can very easily become tired or bored of certain genres of music, particularly when they aren't doing anything new or interesting that catches my ear. A lot of what I'm hearing reminds me of video games from the Sega era, specifically games like JSRF. The drum loop on track 3 with the piano is something I really love to hear and is for sure my favorite track, especially that ... read more
