This album is not great because it is the first release without Max Cavalera in the band, who was really the heart and soul of the project. There are some good riffs throughout, but I do not feel like the band really meshes in terms of cohesion. It is also like pretty long but there are good moments like Boycott and Choke.

one of the absolute best death metal releases. Really just brutal stuff from Gorguts that has a really smart melodic focus. Every track hits and it’s just peak death metal.

This is really heavy and very scary. Love this type of brutal death metal and it’s definitely intense and in your face. The riffs on these tracks are evil and hit a great melodic flow. First suffocation release i’ve listened to.

Best Angel Du$t music so far. I’m such a big fan of the baltimore hardcore sound and this really mixes that with the pop song writing the band has always focused on. This album also definitely has hard riffs in between the melodic choruses.
