I was always an avid Beatles denier then for the fuck of it went and listened to this album as I was going through a breakup and everything made perfect sense. This album got me into the Beatles, it's folky themes went along with my obsession with Nick Drake and Elliott Smith but the Beatles hits I have heard mixed in too. This album is iconic in its songwriting and it's total push forward of the genre of indie music that would come after. After revisiting their earlier music, Rubber Soul if ... read more

Song Machine was a year-long experience and something that was super fun to follow along. Released like a tv show, Gorillaz did season one of their Song Machine project releasing music videos to the songs they released like singles leading up to the project as a whole. The biggest problem an album like this can run into is the singles taking completely over the rest of the project but there is not a bad song on this project and it all gets a chance to shine. My biggest problem with the 2010s ... read more

The perfect combination of every musical genre that needed to back a revolution. Zach De La Roche is a talented MC with his balance of extremely rare talented and non-corny metal rap and Tom Morello knows his way around a pedalboard like no other guitarist I have heard in the past 30 years. A much-needed call to activism that still stands today as an absolute monument. One of my favorite albums of all time, there is truly nothing like it.

One of my absolute favorite rap albums to come out of the current wave. Dark, exciting, and goes hard as fuck. In line with his contemporaries and pushing new ground this album is one of the epitomes of Denzel's sound and one of my favorite cohesive rap albums of the 2010s.

An absolute powerhouse of an album in concept and in execution. Killer fucking riffs all over the place, amazing grandiose vocals from Duplantier, and a killer concept. Saving the world from itself has never sounded so fucking brutal. Gojira has always been a band that has been so much far above the metal curve of the 2000s with their unique blend of progressive and death metal with as much power as they have. This is their masterpiece with emotional capabilities in heavy music never being so ... read more

Hey! It’s Stankysauce under my new alias Alkaline Pink with my new debut Halloween mixtape on my new label Insomnia Café! This new mixtape is by FAR my best material to date and a total change of pace from my last project Analog Autopsy. I am done with that synthwave type stuff to embrace more loud distorted sounds, as I am going industrial this time around. I tried to make it sound as dark and nasty as possible to celebrate the spooky month!
Anyways, I hope you guys like it!
