Gorguts’ debut is nothing special as it’s just a decent osdm album with nothing that make sit stick out in the countless other album in the genre but Gorguts do get their sound later on and you can see they felt a little restricted here as they maybe didn’t know the full sound they wanted yet. This album was really solid for a standard death metal project and this being their debut, you can definitely tell gorguts wasn't gonna be just a normal copy and paste death metal band.

man, october 1991 has to be one of the single most stacked months for death metal. in the span of just 31 days, we were blessed with human, effigy of the forgotten, unquestionable presence, necroticism, and of course, considered dead. while this album is no erosion of sanity or obscura, it definitely deserves more flowers than it gets

Pretty solid but also quite by-the-numbers death metal album. Apparently these guys get really avant-garde later in their discog, which is probably a good thing because the lack of identity is really the biggest problem with "Considered Dead"
