If you really want to know what a perfect debut album looks like, then blow and behold!! I remember being super excited when zero_one first dropped and I thought it was one of the best albums to ever grace my ears, that statement still stands true today. The Living Tombstone is one of those nerdcore bands I grew up on, mostly with their songs about video games, especially Five Nights At Freddy's. They've only improved so much from those days and this album is solid proof that art can come from anywhere, even from the unlikeliest of people. You might think these songs are just simple game songs only because they come from TLT, but a lot of the themes present in this album are things that are tackled extremely well. "Drunk" is the perfect portrayal of falling deep into addiction, thinking it's calming you when it's actually harming you, and realizing it's too late. Other songs like "Can't Wait" and "Long Time Friends" are also special because they explore themes of isolation and the consequences that come with it, some mental and some physical. It really is upsetting to see TLT fall victim to the "Sophmore Slump" with their most recent album Rust, as they prioratized virality over replayability, it's still a good album, but definitely a downgrade. I truly hold zero_one to my heart, both the album and the character, and I think everyone should check it out when they have the chance.
