Disintegration sounds like the soundtrack to my own funeral — achingly beautiful, haunting, and utterly transcendent. It is beyond perfect. Robert Smith’s lyrics are devastating, his voice trembling on the edge of collapse, while the immaculate instrumentation creates an entire world for the listener to lose themselves in. I liked some tracks a lot, but overall not very convincing (for me personally!). I can see why this is - objectively - a very strong and cohesive album.

Instantly put me in a good mood (and that usually takes a lot-...). This is outstanding, oh my god. This record definitely gets me closer to God x

Listening to this while experiencing the most deathly migraine of my life. Makes me want to suffer in the best way possible.
