Dracula is GREAT tho!

The last release of the "Triad", "Accompanied by a Blazing Solo" is 9 tracks of pure sampling brilliance, and occasionally desolate soundscapes. In many ways, it is similar to the final track on Aviv's previous release — GUM — titled "Power Approaches", but slightly more concise in length.

I may not replay this record that often, but whenever I do, it will be a sit-down with no distractions kind of experience.

Man, how was Aviv so consistent from 2020 - 2022?
This concludes a legendary run of albums that Cities Aviv started with GUM, and not to say that he has not put out any good music after this (Electric Chair review also coming soon...), but he certainly hasn't put out any project on the same level as these 5 records since this release.

"Working Title For The Album Secret Waters" in some ways is not too dissimilar from "Man Plays The Horn" from earlier that year, ... read more
