I really liked most of the songs from this album, they just really satisfy my brain. I think the best part of this band is the really interesting backing and rhythms along with the beautiful and intriguing voice of the lead singer. I am a big fan of Japanese pop rock and this is giving that energy, except they’re Norwegian.
Some of the songs were not really gripping me for some reason. This honestly just may be my own personal tastes being reflected. I like psychedelic rock but I don’t think I love it. I definitely had a couple of big likes from this album though.
Okay so I definitely like 3 songs on this album and have loved one for a while, *Distractions,* will always be my favorite from this album. *Impressions* and *Voice Memo* are both interesting additions to my understanding of Wild Painting. It is a pretty short indie alternative album with a lot of good shout out moments to sing along to I have to mention that the other tracks from this album are sort of just there.
