Before I start this review, this is the WORST cover art of biz's discography, but his best album (Don't worry that doesn't affect the rating)
The positives of this album kinda go with what I said about his last album in 2025. It's just better production and well put together, and doesn't sound like some mediocre soundcloud rap project. The song with broski was awesome. I'm also proud of For The Last Time ^-^
The downsides is that some tracks on here felt rushed ... read more
A very short, super fast paced project. The energy all over ERRQUU is great and I love the experimental route Johnnascus went. This project is great if you just want the most amount of energy possible in a project.
I personally thought this album was a bit more flawed than plague cross, but it was still enjoyable as it was creative in its own way. The intro song as well as Sad Satan LSD were definitely the highlights of this album, and the rest were either decent or just songs that felt a bit like filler. Overall decent yet creative album.
Plague Cross definitely set the theme for John's projects after this one. The overall output is okay but definitely an improvement, and I definitely have favorites on this project, like Reality of Resentment and Trapped (even if its the same word screamed for half the song), but i would say this project stayed fairly consistent, with a few misses and a few highlights.
I'm actually surprised how little praise this album gets compared to some of his other projects. Every song on here is honestly fairly well brought out. It did have a few missing points for sure, but honestly this felt like a really good soundcloud album. It focuses a lot on rap while Johnnascus still keeps his artistry the same. Overall a decent record.
I will say unreachable dream is one of my favorite songs I ever heard, and it feels so out of place compared to the rest of the album ... read more
I would consider this the start of where Johnnascus really became himself as an artist. While it still has its flaws in music, it keeps the creativity, and every song in here matches well with each other. It's one of those projects that's hard to enjoy when you are listening to one individual song, as they feel more like songs that are meant to hear in album sequence.
Even though No Theme was meant to be a "not serious" album, it still manages to be his best project up to this point. There is a clear jump in musical talent with every song here, and being a shorter project, it helps keep quality over quantity. For being still such an early Johnnascus project, this one definitely impressed me.
Personally this album didn't align with me as well as the previous projects. A good part of the music here wasn't bad, but overall it felt a lot longer than it needed to be, and in some songs Johnnascus went too far with the screams, especially with songs like Lullaby. What I like about the theme of this album, is that there's obvious signs of growth and potential growth. It also is his first true project that made the sound he makes today for music.
I feel like the switch up in storytelling is both for the better and worse on this project. It comes off as very corny, but also so relatable for young love, and I would say I related to this in high school too. Overall I wasn't a fan of most of the music here, but there were a few moments where Johnnascus did show improvement in musical talent.
LUNA feels like a much larger improvement from Clouds, being a story like album. Although the vocals and production weren't nearly as bad as Clouds, it was still lackluster in a lot of ways, but again, as being a johnnascus fan, I can understand his artistry very clearly on this project. I think LUNA proved that johnnascus has extremely good potential in music, even though this project was so flawed. I will always have a soft spot for this album. Also the ending instrumental song was great.
Unlike Clouds, which felt more like a story kind of album, Noccanist Equinox felt more like a "soundcloud rap" project. It's not particularly bad, but it's not polished either. Again it is an early project so nothing stands out as amazing, but the beats and silly lyrics do make it a least a tad bit enjoyable. Also let's pretend the sabotage cover didn't happen XD
Best: Spiritual Love
Worst: Sabotage
This is the first main project Johnnascus has ever made, so it's natural that it would get a rating as low as I give it. The production and vocals are weak and the lyricism can come off as corny sometimes. Despite the immense amount of flaws this album has, there is still light and joy to listening to it, especially after being a big fan of Johnnascus :)
Best: TheOtherSideInterlude (HM to Distortion)
Worst: MURDER and Lost Prophet
The winter EP was a tad better than the fall edition, but still didn't quite meet my expectations for suicideboys.
This one did the worst out of the 4 EP's in this style. Even the collab with Freddie Dredd felt forced, and I feel like these artists could collab in a much better way. To sum it up, I wasn't a big fan.
Their summer project followed the same style as their spring version, but switched the vibe just a little. 5 'N the mornin was a banger while the rest did okay, carrying their own flaws
An interesting and unique switch up from Suicideboys's usual style of music. While this style isn't their strongsuit, it was still a decent attempt. Also Hot Razor was a banger track.
I have nothing really negative to say about this album. It's just full of banger hardcore metal tracks.
I'm sorry but BONES making soft music like this just doesn't suit well. It's not bad, just very mediocre.
