When Wednesday is good, they are incredible.
'Bleeds' is Wednesday's most diverse record yet, transitioning from hard rock, screamo, folk, and indie rock. I believe that Wednesday is at their best when they go lean into the harder sound, seen on track such as Wound Up Here, Candy Breath, and Wasp. Inversely, tracks like Elderberry Wine and Phish Pepsi failed to captivate me in a similar manner. However, the impact from the tracks I enjoy here are enough to bump this score up ... read more
