My second album experience (absolutely an experience) from Sufjan Stevens. Well, I can easily say that this type of music is not my cup of tea in general. But Sufjan knows something, he has an effect on me. And OMG, these instrument parts at the end of the songs, wow. Really amazing all of them.
Definietly not a once listening album, because I have a feeling that it will be just more and more amazing through every listen so I can’t wait for the next oppurtinity to discover more from this ... read more
Okay. I mean, this is really okay. I’m on a car trip now while I first listening this song, I can really vibe with the snowy, dark landscape with this song on my headphones
This is my first album from Kali Uchis (Spoiler: not the last one)
I expected something else, I mean something more slow R&B style, but this record definietly make me dance from the first song.
Very cohesive, well produced, full of bops.
I think the idea is to make an album what is sensual and danceable but a guideline at the same time is definietly a success in this case. Rare time when I listen latin music but when I do, I expect something like this!
Unpopular opinion here: I like this much better than NFR
Edit: 95—>98
Still not understand why is it so underrated. Literally one of Lana’s best
I remember when this album came out. I didn’t appreciate it enough. Now I feel everything what this album want to give us.
Yes, I know now that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd. There’s a tunnel what is represented by this album, what is under the Ocean Blvd which means all of Lana’s other work. A tunnel what is just made as a detour. It’s more personal, but way more narrow and weak to put among the others. Personally, I checked the detour, but it was too long for me to go through it again.
Of course this is not Radiohead's best album, and although the sound of TKOL is feels so strange, feels otherworldly, and I felt in the first songs that it won't accept me in, it became interesting, and then I just realized that it ended and I loved it. The mix of dark but bright, minimalist but ambitious sounds achieved it's goal.
EDIT: I did a re-listening on this album and I thought that my score will goes lower but absolutely not. This album definitely different than their ... read more
This is hard, the transition, the production, the video.
It feels like the first half of the album just prepare you for the second half, for the absolute heaven.
I can say I'm a big fan of Twenty One Pilots, and I already was when this album has dropped. This was a highly anticipated album of 2018. There was a really huge era, really exciting months before the release, and I wasn't dissapointed, both the singles and the album. This record follow a very well-structured concept, not the exact same sound on every song, but you can feel that the album is builted on a vibe.
I love almost everything what TOP had done through the years, but I can say this ... read more
This album didn't get me as much as is expected, but it's still beautiful, catchy instrumentals, deep lyrics. The first song I heard from this album is the Fourth of July, I've cried a multiple times on this song, and probably that is the reason I was waiting a similar album.
You don't have to accept these music in, these music have to accept you in.
The silence in the last song was too loud, but it absolutely worth the wait, cause this final was epic.
Some song in the album just forgettable, but some song in the album just legendary
