I think for all of the controversy it will cause its evident that Eminem just has absolutely NOTHING to talk about here except triggering the Gen-Z with their pronouns and their trans genders. Definitely not one of the Greatest videogame OSTs of all time and overrated as all fuck. But still good.
I think I can understand why you'd want to open tracks blaring with instruments and excitement and have a quick pace to them. It brings life and energy to a soundtrack. But you need to slow the fuck down. Even the chill tracks like the vocal version of Behind the Rain are way too fast and don't really allow itself to be drowned into its slow ambient atmosphere. Its overly long and a lot of tracks don't really Stand our but when it is strong it is "better than Hitman Contracts" strong. Especially when the first two tracks hook you so much in. Tobin is comfortable with this genre and knows how to make noise ambient and enjoyable without it just sounding like annoying noise. Great stuff.
Hell yes I am the first person to leave a legit review of this soundtrack. This is legit Jesper Kyds best work and one of my favourite soundtracks of all time.
But WHY THE FUCK IS IT LABELLED AS CINEMATIC CLASSICAL LITERALLY WHAT TRACK ARE YOU DESCRIBING THIS IS EXPERIMENTAL TECHNO.
