Fleet Foxes's sophomore album "Helplessness Blues" released in 2011 is in my opinion one of the most impressive and well-written folk records of this century so far. This is Fleet Foxes's Debut album released in 2008.
This album is rich in bucolic themes. The mixture of the vocals and instrumentation give a very Lush feeling. This album in some ways reminds me of Van Morrison's Astral Weeks, there are definitely some influences from that record incorporated in this one.
