Fleet Foxes's sophomore album "Helplessness Blues" released in 2011 is in my opinion one of the most impressive and well-written folk records of this century so far. This album is rich in bucolic themes. The mixture of the vocals and instrumentation give a very Lush feeling. This album in some ways reminds me of Van Morrison's Astral Weeks, there are definitely some influences from that record incorporated in this one.
