Intriguing first release from Knownish, with wobbly production techniques and inconsistent time signature fluctuations that jarringly twist and pull at my brain until the duration of the track has run its course; a convincingly quick 4 and a half minute run sounding like a deceitful 2. Clear genre/general composition cues from bands like 'Self' are heard, albeit by no means sounding derivative of artists of that general spectrum. Before hearing this release, I hadn't listened to a second of breakcore music. Femtanyl just so happened to, like how many others found her, randomly pop into my youtube recommended with the song "Girl Hell 1999". No idea what invoked me to listen to this song initially but after about a minute in I simply passed it off.
