زياد الرحباني [Ziad Rahbani] - Houdou nisbi

This Arabic jazz record is very enjoyable and brought back an atmosphere to be desired. The mixing, collaboration, and detail that resonate from this record truly entice a listener's experience.

Oki Kano - Tonkori in the Moonlight

This traditional music record really expresses the cultural influences and intricacies of traditional music as a whole, and, as one of the first ones I've ever listened to, it was very intriguing.

Loyle Carner - hugo

A surprisingly good listen, and one that I'd revisit just for the vibes and atmospheric eloquence which this record provides.

Scowl - Are We All Angels
90

The hardcore sound that comes from this record is one that I really enjoy. The grunge elements and influences never cease to amaze me, and the overall experience while listening to this album leaves you satisfied and content.

Panchiko - Ginkgo

This sound of theirs is quite refreshing, and one that is very enjoyable. You love to see it fr fr

Bull of Heaven - 105: I'm Not Here Anymore
80

A cool noise ambient album, which I'd expect to just zone out to when I have nothing else to do. Very noice.

Djo - The Crux
90

It's quite fun, and I love the Hypnagogic Pop elements that are added here and there. Definitely good for a pop rock record, and one that's quite enjoyable.

Thornhill - BODIES
95

I love djent so I'm biased but yeah this is good.

Blue Smiley - ok
96

Only a 70? I must be like conditioned to be liking everything I come upon because this is vast and plentiful despite its length. If ever I want to just relax and listen to some shoegaze, I'd pop this on.

Jane Remover - Revengeseekerz
97

Well talk about dropping an unexpected banger, this new LP by Jane Remover brings in another genre into her arsenal. The production never ceases to amaze me, and this LP truly brings an energetic empowerment that I did not know I needed.

Black Country, New Road - Forever Howlong

You know initially I thought this band, which is my favorite band of all time, would never have the same quality of music after Isaac left; however, I have been proved wrong. Although this is no Ants From Up There, I accept it because it's not meant to be that. It's a rebirth of their sound, and the art rock and folk elements really blend well together. I must say I did want more sax on the entire album, but idk I love Lewis so that might be my bias speaking lmao.

The Microphones - Microphones in 2020

"I never want to stop singing this song" and I never want to stop hearing it. I love it so much, and it's a good way to end off the legacy of the alias "The Microphones".

Mount Eerie - Ocean Roar
97

Well talk about underrated damn. This entire album was just experimentally sound and heart-warming.

The Flaming Lips - 2011 #9: 7 Skies H3 – 24 Hour Skull

I am writing this review as I start this song:
(yes I am inspired by Styg (go check them out))

First 60 minutes: I love this part of the song so far, and I am kinda hyped cuz it's not just a long song filled with nothing.

An hour and 15 minutes in: I like this IDM drone stuff, and it's quite calming.

An hour and 30 minutes in: Oooh this dark ambient and ethereal experience is, once again, quite serenading.

2 hours in: Nice drums, but that ... read more

Argo Nuff - taking a break from my phone

Ambience and FUN, along with a bit of brainrot, make up this album.

Argo Nuff - annebolyn

Argo Nuff gotta be one of my fav artists of all time.

Bull of Heaven - 299: Self-Traitor, I Do Bring the Spider Love
96

When I hear Bull of Heaven I do not expect Space Rock, but here we are. This is amazing

Backxwash - Only Dust Remains
95

Backxwash is so good imo and although I think this album lacks in comparison to her other two, it's still so good

Deafheaven - Lonely People With Power
99

Well well well look what we got here. Nah but fr tho I love this album in its entirety

"I mean fair enough, it's good to know you liked some songs still though, but yeah songs like "he never existed in the first place" were a bit hard for me at first too. I don't know what clicked in me but I eventually loved the voices in the band, so I'd say give it a relisten like around this time right now, to gather your thoughts again."
