Zany and groovy
I was surprised at how pleasant this album was. I didn't expect the hour to be handled as well as it was. While there were certainly better and worse tracks, there were no duds throughout the album. The jazzy bass and samples created a fittingly idiosyncratic backdrop to the vocalist's rambling lyrics. With all its strange elements, you'd think this album slipped through a portal from another dimension. It was quite enjoyable and definitely worth a listen.
