he's like the american harry styles. all the songs here kinda sound the same, and while that could be seen as a way to make the album cohesive, i don't think that's what he achieved. instead, it made the album boring. overall, i think it's listenable when you're doing something and just want some music to be playing in the background because it's not a bad record at all.
extremely fun listen! it might have its right moment to be heard, but it's definitely worth it!
can someone explain me WHY IN THE HELL every song `have a 2012's edm dated beat on the chorus/post chorus?
enjoyable. not extremely good, not terribly bad. good songwriting and he has such an amazing voice
great album but it's not my kind of music so it didn't really move me
best album released this year but you people are not ready for this conversation
imagine having Taylor Swift featuring on your album and then make her a backing vocalist
not cohesive + boring songs + she thinks it's funny being obsessed and shady
how can you release an 8 track collection lasting 22 minutes and call it an album..
like every other album in the world, this one has its ups and downs, but I think it's one of the most cohesive works released this year. the similar sound to harry styles is welcome here, and I also liked the fact that, unlike many of today's artists, most of the tracks here are over 3 minutes long without sounding empty or missing anything. bassett has really done a great job and this album definitely deserves more attention
i don't know if i'll ever play this again but hell yeah it's good. it explores a sonority i haven't seen any artist make in quite a while. porter deserves his 10's
you can't take reviews on this site seriously when most of them mentions that xcx bitch but this album has NOTHING to do with her "music" (and we thank god)
