A digital opera is not something I knew I needed. RAYE runs through the throes of love, heartbreak, and, as said, hope. This album will could make you teary-eyed, it won't bring you to your knees, it'll actually lift you up. Music like this is something we need in this day-and-age. I'm excited to see her next move.
I’m not a huge fan, though I just wish to say this is a very, very good album for a somewhat ‘underground’ artist, barely underground because of their hits. He has clearly had a lot of time to grow and expresses love, heartbreak, and closing this chapter on his own terms. Phenomenal.
It always feels like you’re turning a corner with Kanye, you have no clue what is around it, sometimes it tumbles your heart, sometimes it fills you with a confused emotion, at other times, you’ll realize of all the stories he’s told, his life always has another plot-twist that will cause him to fall even farther. I wish I was into hip-hop when this came out, I could see a man rise so high from what was already cloud nine, it’s sad to see the time I do care for him is ... read more
Hmmm, I don’t like listening to music digitally, I try to keep away from such things, but since there isn’t a physical version for this song, or the album it’ll be on, I’ll still run on from my tablet or phone speakers. Alohaii’s special, and they’ll show that next time will be one heck of a ride.
New ‘Flower Boy’? No. New ‘IGOR’? No. New ‘Call Me If You Get Lost’? No. New ‘Chromakopia’? No. Did I want any of those things again from Tyler? No. I think the most conflict I receive from this album is from how it doesn’t give you an atmosphere, Flower Boy, IGOR, Call Me If You Get Lost, Chromakopia, you can imagine a world, the fresh sunflowers, the dystopia that shades the vision when in love, the romantic trip around the world, and the ... read more
So healing and moving, it’s a reminder as to why we move forward, and why we should move to be better people.
In an addicting sound that’ll keep you crawling back and yearn for the grace of delightful music, Alohaii’s ‘Summertide’ makes an unforgettable mark with its love-fueled sound and the undertone of sorrow brought in the fantastic image of a beautiful beachside aesthetic. Brought in the waves, your heart will flirt with euphoria, but be unable to put a ring on it due to very little shortcomings and one or two turbulent tracks only because the rest of so great.
Caravan of Thieves’s ‘Kiss Kiss’ not only demonstrates their unrivaled versatility and prowess for unarguably amazing sound, it saddles the unreal feeling and rhythm and lyrics to the listener’s mind to sing along after you yearn for another listen. Only brung down by some slightly mediocre songs, ‘Kiss Kiss’ makes a crescendo that may have unfortunately been the bands’ last.
Decided, not by popularity or appeal, Caravan of Thieves’s ‘The Funhouse’ demonstrates pure and nude talent from one of the most obscure bands on this earth. Forcing the lights upon themselves and demanding every listener in the rooms attention, the vocal and instrumental performances strike an unforgettable moment of unbalanced joy into those nearby to hear it.
With some of the most phenomenal highs that can only be imagined by the mind when put into action, ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ holds itself in poise and elegance as it dives into treacherous places that can fathom in reality. Only having high hanging fruit, some bites just aren’t as juicy as others, though will still feed the starving for weeks.
A life-changing record so universal it defines what ‘love’, ‘heartbreak’, and everything that comes with it.
