Morgan Wallen has not evolved as an artist since his inception. He still writes the same whiney breakup songs that his fans think are emotional, and still puts out incredibly long albums that are an absolute slog to get through. Before I even reached the halfway point, I was bored, and nothing after the halfway point piqued my interest. Not one song stuck out to me, and it just seemed like Wallen was making himself a victim again and again. Even on the title track, he doesn't take ... read more
Since my first listen of this album a couple of weeks ago, it has been on repeat, and the more I've listened to this album, the more I've realized it's so much more than just a hypersexual dance-pop romp. It's about just how disposable an up-and-coming artist is, and everything about this album, from the songs to the aesthetics of it's release back this theme up.

This album really didn't do anything for me. There's nothing here that's downright bad, but a lot of it is bland. Most of these songs feel designed for TikTok (short, a catchy chorus, without much substance to the verses), and I'm just not vibing with most of the tracks. I get what Tate is doing with it, and it's a passable pop album, but most of the tracks aren't going to be entering my main rotation.
I think Tate killed it with the singles, and while they ... read more
