This album altered my brain chemistry. It's ridiculous how good and modern it sounds.

As it has been noted before, the problem with this album is that its release was rushed. Paul was at a creative peak at the time and this album doesn't do him justice at all. There's a lot of uninspired filler, both instrumental AND vocal. Junk is arguably the best song here. Unfortunately only Maybe I'm Amazed seems to have stood the test of time. Besides these two, Every Night, Man We Was Lonely and Teddy Boy are good enough not to be skipped, but that's it really.

I actually prefer this to Plastic Ono Band. The album doesn't rely on its title track at all. At least 6 out of 10 songs are absolute bangers.

As a Paul girlie I've always been a bit skeptical towards Lennon's solo career, but this remains as one of my favourite Beatle solo albums.

This is Kate Bush's best album. I said what I said. She has such a unique songwriting style and voice, that you end up with either a masterpiece or an annoying experiment. This album has both, with the former outnumbering the latter.

P.S. Wuthering Heights is one of the best and most mesmerising songs of all time.

It is indeed the best debut album of all time and the best KC album. Although I must admit that in spite of being a prog fan, I have a hard time finishing Moonchild. As for I Talk To The Wind, the album version is fine, but there's a cover with Judy Dyble on vocals which does the song more justice. That is not to say I don't like Greg Lake's vocals, in fact, I have a soft spot for him.

I don't get all the hate. Sure, the songs aren't a big deal, but the album as a whole is quite listenable. There are a few which I'm tempted to skip: Half a man, Tomorrow and Seaons. That leaves you with nine songs, 3 of which are forgettable yet decent, and the other six are solid tracks. Sister Golden Hair is the best one by far though.

I have listened to it a fair amount of times. Songwriting and production wise, it's a nice record.
