Not as bad as people are making it out to be. Sure the lyrics may be dated but they are objectively Katy Perry lyrics. She's never been well known for her lyrics, and her corny/campy style (à la PLAY) is what she's known for which this song definately brings out. Sure Dr. Luke is on the track, and while he does have certain allegations posed against him it isn't enough to bring the rating of this track down, as this is a Katy Perry song, not a Dr. Luke song.
This album is an absolute bop and anyone who thinks otherwise is wrong. The only critique for the re-issue is that the deluxe songs don't feel cohesive to the original album, and feel like their outtakes from her earlier albums, and they just don't fit as deluxes here. Otherwise incredibly solid album to dance to and just feel free.
Album full of bops with a personal touch added to it. Deserves the success that teenage dream and prism had.
