A very fresh project with some absolutely stellar jazzy production by Dirty Art Club whom I had not heard of until the album released, but I will be keeping an eye on them from now on. Morph did well on this project but it does start to wander into some more familiar ground that he's already tread in terms of flows and general energy on this one. I genuinely adore tracks like Mr. Bombastic and 10700 days though and a good chunk of this album will be on repeat.
This is an amazing sign of what's to come with Cabin In the Sky, the Plugs and Pete Rock were in their whole bag making this
A very nice little detour after the highs we got earlier in the year with his No I.D collab, I genuinely enjoy all of the tracks save for Looking For Parking, the autotune and production reminds me of what was on the radio back in the early 2010s and to me that's not quite a positive, but other than that one song, I like basically all of them, especially itachi and high tides. Damn near perfect house album with some actually mindboggling levels of talent on display, especially with tracks like Face To Face or One More Time. The synths on Discovery are as essential as the bass on a Thundercat record, and Crescendolls is actually the best track argue with a wall
