it was... okay. i really liked the first few songs but after awhile they all bled through one another that i didnt finish the album unfortunately (lemme know if i missed some good songs by the end!!). i just ... wish there was more personality here because they're soooo goood vocally. but music is more than just good vocals.

the intro with cynthia erivo was perfection though!! overall an okay debut album! hope to see them evolve and ACTUALLY get to know them more

i relistened to fsf yesterday and while it was very good, it really felt so (maybe even too) production-heavy especially coming off from her latest album. after the slow cook of older in my psyche and listening to this EP, i realized that lizzy is truly at her best either with the production serving only to support HER or it barely being there at all.

after seeing lizzy's performances at the elsie fest, i HAD to give this album another shot. and im so glad i did. im honestly surprised i liked so many songs as i did.

when i tried to listen to this earlier this year, i was so disappointed it didnt continue off the high that is five seconds flat. but after listening to so many albums this month, i realized each project deserved to be heard as is. i really shouldnt expect the sound to be the same as the previous records even.
