This is the best song I have listened to in a long time. I am in love with it. Pure synth perfection.
(i want to start writing for this fucking website again)
Fuck it, why not 100? It's actually THE pop bible. Happy 10th anniversary to this gem of an album <3

omg what the fuck was wrong with me giving this a 6? It's Justice.
==2023/4? review==
Coming from the debut album, it's a massive step-back. But there are some fun tracks that make up for it, such as New Lands and the closer 17-minute nostalgic Planisphere. Other than that, it's pretty much a forgettable record from a group that delivered Electronya realness with their phenomenal first project.
Let there be Justice - pun very intended - for this awful critic score average.
I have been in a deep rampant of Justice’s discography during 2024. Way back in September of last year I decided to fully dive into “✝” (Cross), as I was in an Electro kind of mood (still am, will never not be). I was very pleased but it wasn’t until Justice announced their comeback earlier this year that I really got into it. Into all of it, honestly.
Throughout their career I feel like ... read more
This kinda blows. Sucks because this is one of the coolest aesthetics I have seen for an album.
Twitter has been raving about Julia Holter's music for a while now. I occasionally see the "mother of alt art pop" type of posts and it gets me curious to see what all of THAT is about. So, I dove into it with a bit of that context. I was, as usual, pleasantly surprised.
If there's one thing I've been loving lately is a good ambient project with soft and eerie melodies. This delivers just that. On top of that you have beautifully layered vocals that just help this case. This album ... read more
Daft Punk's sophomore album is incredible and possibly one of the best things to happen to House music.
Long albums (especially more electronic-driven) can be a bit tedious or be a complete bag of mixed goods. But oh god they managed to make a cohesive fun long album. I found myself grooving with every song because they are just so different from each other but so similar at the same time. I mean, when you open a project with one of the most iconic house cuts of all time, there's not a lot ... read more
This is just ok, i guess. Had the same exact feeling with her last album and I come to realize that her music is just not for me. Cool for background noise though.
Allie X was my most played artist in 2019. At that time, her three latest projects clicked with me throughout the years. I felt like she was the hidden popstar no one really talked about.
Fast forward to 4-5 years later and here we are. She lost her face in the way, apparently, but she didn't fucking lose that insane talent to make good pop music. This project is the culmination of years of work that have finally led Allie to fully produce and write her own body of work. And it paid off, so ... read more
Fantastic. The production is one of the most interesting I've heard in a while on any album. It's minimal but so excentric. Chelsea's vocals are perfect for this Industrial/Experimental production. So so so well paired. Just a fantastic project from start to finish. I was quite surprised by the opener alone. Not even fantastic but rather a phenomenal body of work.
This made me go back to the original cuts and treasure them so much more. Not in a bad way, at all. Kelela's "Raven" never really got its time with me, but I finally feel like, with the release of these great remixes, I got to appreciate the original project as a body of work.
I really like some of the stuff in here but it sometimes can feel a little stretched. Club vibes are here though, and for that, we support it.
Yes, it is repetitive. It's a bit one-toned. Yes. But it's so goddamn magnificent. It makes you float to extreme highs. It is, for me, one more sign that music is languageless and it is an intrinsic form of communication that will never be able to be replicated due to its subjectively bendable form. So excited to dive into other Sigur Rós' projects.
