twikipedia, under the name "key vs. locket" released this emo rock album that fits nicely with the rest of the emo rock albums released this decade. I like how lush the album can feel, how the guitar can feel simple yet very thick, added with the quiter vocals and sometimes samples of discussions are present in the background. It reminds me a lot of other indie artists like quadeca, parannoul and car seat headrest on how thie songs are composed, with a bit of personal flare from ... read more
Balu Brigada, a new zealandese duo (formerly a band) that finally released a new album and holy shit they ventured to a pop zone. Get me right, I don't really like pop, it's not my favorite genre. It's fine if people enjoy it, but i don't necesseraly. That being said, they do lean onto that spectrum heavily, with they mixing of guitar play and synths which is pretty cool, but not new, innovative or made in a way to be unique. I do appreciate some elements in here, like the ... read more
JOEY BADA$$, Some say the stepson of the clapper, others say the malevolent enemy of the underground, but he always stayed in one moniker: the villain of the ra- wait, sorry. He stole my speech on Doom again, I gotta hide it at one point...There it is
Hailing, from the streets of Brooklyn, among many other starting rappers, came out Jo-Vaughn Virginie Scott, professionally loved as Joey B4da$$. At the ripe age of 17, he has proven himself as a talented rapper and artist when he released his ... read more
HAYLEY WILLIAMS, don't give her a studi because she'll do music without the need of a band.
Without basic knowledge of rock, you would know that Hayley Williams is an important image in the rock scene. Fairly new, Williams and her band Paramore, with Zac Farro & Taylor York (also joined yb Josh Farro and Jeremy Davis previously), started out started in her (2nd) hometown, Franklin TN. And as they played more shows and composed more songs, they became more popular and helped grow ... read more
WESTSIDE GUNN, the heel of New York...the weak spot of Achilles.
Ever since 2015, Alvin Lamar Worthy, hidden under the name Westside Gunn, has been growing steadily in the rap scenes by bringing back old school rap. He wanted to bring this style back to the industry after seeing that old school rappers either stopped dropping great music of the 90s and started dropping some unc shit, or stopped dropping great music of the 90s and started dropping...on the ground. Sorry for the dark joke here, ... read more
Sabrina Carpenter. we love her shows, we love her performances, we love her jokes, we love her ideas. we don't love her music.
So, we have Sabrina Carpenter, a 26-year old singer that has been becoming famous over the past few years because of her new old style of pop aesthetic she used, unironically stole from Laufey (jk). But seriously, a lot of people wanted old music to come back in mainstream and if someone was gonna do that, it would be Carpenter. However - and I do like when people ... read more
WU-TANG CLAN, the first ever rap group that were able to perform martial arts of Shaolin to the public...with their words.
The rap group consisted of "The RZA, Inspectah Deck, Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Masta Killa, Ugod, Cappadona and The GZA" - it was easy to see it's at the bottom of the cover - have given us a new album to digest. This time around, it's a joint album, where all of them teamed up with producer and DJ Ronald Maurice Bean, professionally known ... read more
It's a pretty good song, I love the production on the track, with the clear and fun sapling (I'm from '09, i don't have much nostalgia love for drowning pool, sorry y'all) and GREAT drumming. I adore when drums are hard and aren't afraid to play with the rhythm at times and this does very well. The instrumental switches up throughout the track which i appreciate from the producers. Now on the rapping side, Offset's rapping is alright, I didn't expect so ... read more
I enjoyed the alienated sound of the album. I always wanted an album resembling hip hop in another universe and experimental albums and i finally foundit π. This album easily represents Flying Lotus as a creative and wide-range minded artist in the electronic scene (and the jazz scene if you include you're dead). Also, godbless thundercat and his basslines, i envied his skill for the past year, as i study bass too. but anywho or anyhow, i love this album and i can't say enough to ... read more
some songs are shit, more songs are kinda good, the songs put together b=makes it kinda random to listen like you listen to a nice jam like BURN, then something crazy like FUK SUMN and then something underproduced like VULTURES. this album feels very random but good, the only thing keeping track is Ty. but overall, kinda good, could've been better, feels like TLOP and Donda 2 mashed together.
I love the style, I love the lyricism, I'm fine with the Glam, Fun Detail and a Lot More
Favorite Track: Mirror, The Feminine Urge
Great lyricism reminds me of Radiohead, but sonically, it's still a generic synthpop album
It's a simple boastful song. Mid. There is nothing special about it
Love all songs but the last one was filler, but all of them are Griselda gems
Tbh I like Dicky's confidence, but his music so too simple, his comedy is too edgy and everything is out-of-place
Feels like a better DJ Khaled, but sometimes the features are weird, or annoyingly add an artist jst for outro or chorus. It's out of place some songs, like First Night or Equilibrium or Hummingbird. Yeah Mid
