all i picture are the cats on the cover dancing to most of the slower parts of this album and i love that imagery. a lot to love of this sound, tracks 3 8 10 & 11 stood out to me ♥︎
My second phase of Elliott is here and strong. XO has an addictive yet simple instrumental throughout. I absolutely admire his vocals, and it seems I find new favorites after listening more. 'Oh Well, OK', 'Waltz, No. 1', and 'I Didn't Understand' were new favorites upon my visits to XO. Just wonderful
as a former emo kid, this album is toooo nostalgic to dislike. great combination of singing and screaming, great guitar, just a little repetitive after a bit. track 10 is an all time fave
You know when you find a stellar song and decide to listen to more from that artist and get thoroughly disappointed so you kind of gain a fear of getting disappointed again, but decide to risk it after finding a track called 'Pillars' and instead get met with an album that actually matches or exceeds your expectations? Thats how it feels to be something on. Title track is phenomenal thank you
