Great display of lyricism.
If the whole album were as good as the highs on here, it would be a serious Album of the Year contender — but that’s not the case.
Some of these songs are really good but have a bad or annoying chorus that kind of ruins the song, which is a shame.
Because of that, it’s only a "great" album.
Decent album. The biggest issue for me is the inconsistency of the tracks — the best songs are really good, but the lows on here are also pretty bad.
All in all, I would also note that on most songs, 2 Chainz carried and Larry was the weak point.
Pretty much all of the beats on here are good, but on some of them, Larry and/or 2 Chainz didn't fit. For example, "Generation" is actually a really hard-hitting beat, but the rapping performances and flows from both rappers make ... read more
"I done lost some Flintstones makin' bed rock."
That's just one of many uninspired and lame bars we get on this album.
This also could've been a bit better if these unbelievably boring tracks didn't last five minutes.
That wouldn't have saved it, but it would have minimized the damage to my ears.
Can't believe I spent an hour listening to this and it ended up having only two songs that are remotely listenable.

Super Raw and elite rapping performances.
Sometimes the beats might have been a bit to simple for my taste, still a great listen.
The last 3 song run is special.
great sampling and overall production, paired with very hungry rapping, make for one of the best releases of 2025. Not a single song comes close to being a skip, and the quality of both rapping and production never drops. Incredible.
This is great, but not as great as I hoped it would be.
Rome really carried this album, and I would say some of the Conductor beats brought it down a little bit.
Rome’s rapping is on the same level as on the classic Kiss the Ring, but Conductor Williams' production isn't anywhere near that on a few songs.
With that being said, Rome proved that he is one of the best rappers in the game right now and is capable of putting out albums that are even far better than this.

This duo doesn't miss.
Boldy is building up an even more insane catalog than he already has.
This album is just amazing in all aspects, from the creative and diverse production by Real Bad Man to Boldy having some of his best rapping performances in a long time on here. I have to mention it again: the diversity between these beats just amazes me. The songs never feel repetitive, and from jazzy production to very simple drumless beats, everything is on here.
We also get insane features ... read more
Wanted to listen to some Fahim today.
Pretty good — a mixed bag; some beats are great, others aren't as interesting.
Fahim's rapping is solid and energetic for the most part.
The best song was the intro — beautiful sample.
The songs are just as beautiful as this cover.
Super consistent 5-track EP with a diverse mix of production.
The beats are so well-crafted and Boldy delivers as always. Also, Mike Shabb delivers an incredible guest verse on "Clorox," which is definitely one of the best songs on here.
The best song, however, is "Nancy Botwin" in my opinion. The production is so pretty-sounding with that saxophone — genuinely one of the best Boldy songs ever.

It was good, just like i expected but i was kinda bored throughout.
Roc Marciano is one of the greatest writers of all time—no debate.
This album is very impressive, considering Marci not only lays down some of the coldest verses ever, but was also in charge of the entire production. Marci's production style is very distinct, and his minimalist approach is also highly influential.
The tracklist features one of the most stacked guest lineups I could imagine. We get great verses from hip-hop legends who were still fairly early in their careers at this ... read more
This album is so overlooked. The tracklist is super consistent, and it’s hard to find the best or the worst song.
The feature verse from Estee Nack is absolutely nasty and made the song one of the best for sure.
The best song is "New York Fitted", though — the beat is absolutely disgusting, and Rome flows on it so effortlessly.
Another underrated track is "Normal Shit", with a super smooth sample as well as rapping.
The "worst" track is "My ... read more
Pretty straightforward Trap album with pretty good consistency.
Some of the songs are just bangers, but something about this album is that the sampling is done beautifully.
The tracklist at some point starts to go downhill a bit, but the last two tracks are great again.
Lyrically, there’s not much to talk about, but that’s what you would expect. The length is alright, just some songs feel unnecessary to be on there.

My First time hearing from this artist. Will return.
Great, personal lyrical performance
started off super strong but over time the tracklist fell off a bit but still pretty good.
Wake Up is an incredible Song
Might make top 10 of the year
This was my first ever Mac Miller album, and I don’t know what took me so long.
I didn’t know what to expect, but it definitely wasn’t this.
Basically, what this album offers is fun beats paired with not too complicated, but solid rapping — just enough to work.
On some songs, that combination works incredibly well, on others, not so much.
The listen was so fun I had to bump up the score a bit.

I remember that I did not really enjoy it on first listen when it just came out.
But today I decided to return to it, and it was worth it.
I guess my problem back then was the very simple beats, and I expected something else from The Alchemist.
But now, this is just great laid-back production with Marci's flows being as good as ever, and there were so many funny, quotable lyrics in there that made me laugh.
The length of 10 tracks and about 30 minutes is honestly perfect for this. It was ... read more
