Immortal Technique - Revolutionary Vol. 2

"Revolution is the birth of equality, and the anti-thesis to opression."

This album rocks. Technique is such a proficient rapper whose passion always shines through, no matter what topic he may be covering. From the dramatic and epic Point Of No Return, to the beautiful and heartfelt You Never Know and One - Remix. It's an amazing ride from start to finish

One of the most powerful, beautiful, yet harsh and gritty albums I've ever heard. Its subtle and pretty melodies within the many walls of epic distortion come off as dreamy and quite magical to me.

I think that's what draws me to this album the most. Through all of the listening we do, every once in a while, we come across that one piece of art that we will cherish for a very long time. That's what this is to me. Amazing

SOPHIE - Berlin Nightmare

It's definitely a song

OMA - Luv(sic) Hexalogy [OMA & Shing02 Live at Liquidroom]

The Luv(sic) series will forever be classic

Prince and The Revolution - Purple Rain

Yup this song is easily among the greatest ever. The UNBELIEVABLY PASSIONATE vocals, the fucking guitar solo, the stellar harmonies, the soul crushing lyrics, and the amazing string section. This song is perfect

Lana Del Rey - Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd

When putting out albums like this, there's no way she will be forgotten any time soon. But still, there is this sense of questioning, and a sense of longing to leave behind a legacy. Something that will resonate with people for years to come. To me, that's exactly what this album has done, and will continue to do for ... read more

McKinley Dixon - Beloved! Paradise! Jazz!?

November, 2023, somewhere in Europe. I went to a festival close to where I live just to see Mckinley Dixon perform songs from one of the most moving bodies of work I've ever heard. About 30 minutes before his set started, he just sat there, on stage behind the drum set. Having playful chats with his staff as they were tuning the instruments and getting everything ready. He seemed at peace. In the moment. Just grateful to be there.

As he started playing songs from his previous album, and ... read more

"You should check out her other stuff! Duality is another dreamy album like this, and her Jams EP's are basically short instrumentals that she produced herself with the instruments she plays (guitar, harp, piano etc)"
