not their best work. kinda forgettable. ITS NOT BAD ITS JUST NOT A STANDOUT LIKE THEIR OTHER ONES
For me this album most definitely surpasses Mothership and in my eyes is probably the best album Tillian’s ever been in. I also love how Andrew’s in Evaporate and I love the references to older tracks.
Easily one of their greatest albums to date. Tim really starts to come into his element with the basslines in this album. There are so many iconic and memorable tracks and tue mixing is great!
This is easily a spot where this band starts to shine the most. The chemistry between Jon and Tillian really shines here and there’s some really iconic instrumentation on almost every track. Amazing Album.
Even though a lot of people cite the vocals being “flat” i don't actually hate this album and i think it was a great debut for tilian as a vocalist for dgd. With Acceptance Speech they really started to form their modern sound. My only complaint is that sometimes the album feels too experimental especially with tracks like Death of the Robot with Human Hair. Other than that the albums a great listen.
