I think a lot of the praise for this album is attributed to the fact that it was so controversial when it first released. It's full of aggression from start to finish and I understand why something like this had the impact that it did but that is all the album achieves.

The usual trap and rage with vocal performances that I'm not much of a fan of. Many songs are too repetitive and the albums just overall very flat and uninspired. The occasional loud ass tags, snare loops, and gunshot noises also don't enhance the experience, and I see it as just a cheap way of adding mixtape nostalgia. Not to mention Kendrick Lamar being shoehorned in multiple times doing bullshit just because he was rap's white knight of 2024.

This is an impressive output from him. Good beats and this vocal style he's been using since Screaming Forest has increased in range with fun lyrics and doesn't ever feel repetitive.
You could say the tape runs for too long but just like with any other artist, if you can't get into their project's general style, of course the run-time of it is gonna be an issue. Terrible overplayed garbage featuring the worst chorus ever from an annoying kpop girl with bruno mars roped in.
The cloying chant in the beginning is stupid and the first 30 seconds is pointless buildup for the prechorus, which is the only tolerable part of the song.
