i think this album is being generally overlooked, people seem to be searching for a tame impala from 10 years ago, and need to realise that artistrty and sound is something that evolves and changed with an artists life.
deadbeat does feel like it has sentimental importance to kevin, the songs subject matters lyrically explore themes of isolation, running out of time and other motives of stress.

now this is incredible.
I am a geese fan however I prefer this new album to any of their material, Camerons much more simplistic and calming instrumentation leaves space for his one of a kind voice.
The songs themselves are beautifully written and executed whether its studio or live setting.
I am so excited to see what Cameron has in store for the future, he really has shown to be one of the most capturing singer / songwriters this year.
