What do you get when you mix a lot of Jaron musically with a little Porter Robinson narratively and a pinch of Fox Stevenson lyrically? You get something adjacent to this album, but disphing takes all that and does something all his own here. You simultaneously feel the fun behind the scenes and the depth behind the lyrics in this project. It takes a bit of a tired metaphor, coding compared to relationship, and takes it in such a fresh direction. Rarely does a project feel so digital yet so real. A wonder of an album.
