every song he put out for his upcoming album sound like a really boring deep cut from previous albums that they're representing as.

i mean pixelated kisses wasn't the greatest thing ever but atleast it was interesting with it's noisier sound compared to joji's other more somber and lowkey stuff.
this isn't even that. this just sounds like one of those filler cuts from smithereens.

how do you make the best song ever and fill the rest of the album with mid slop

quality dips so much after the first 2 songs, and it's a shame because some of kirin's best stuff are in this and this would've been his best album by far if he kept the quality consistent. and it's also a shame that he never really returned to this industrial style (or maybe he did in his last 2 albums i haven't listened to them yet)
